Hi, I have been using my POD HD500X mainly for recording at home directly into a pc. I want to use the unit live, connecting to a Laney VC30 amp and bypassing all the amp models on the Line 6 so it retains the sound of the amp. With no amp selected and all effects off the tone of the amp changes which I thought shouldn't happen as the guitars going into the Line 6 then out with any changes along the signal path. Is this usual or am I missing something? Basically I'm just trying to uses multiple effects, no amp modelling as I like the sound of the amp as is.
