  1. Well after the amp sat overnight the footboard now seems to be displaying the correct information for whatever reason. Problem solved I guess.
  2. OK so the amp issues appear resolved. I now am able to pull up matching tones. Yay! I am still having problems with the footboard not displaying any readable information on the display screen. Any thoughts on that? My dealer is checking with their Line 6 rep. They thought the update would solve that but I will report back that is hasn't.
  3. OK I have "successfully" downloaded the 3 updates that showed online for the Amplifi 150 but it still does not appear to be connecting with the remote app. This is super frustrating. Is there anything else I should do? I already uninstalled and reinstalled the app and also unpaired and repaired the device via BT.
  4. How can I tell for sure if it is paired or not. I assumed it was because I was able to transmit music from my library and also videos from my phone to the amp. Also it would display which preset tone I was using, ie. Fidelity Lead. I am in the process of updating the firmware right now and will report back. Thank goodness I happened to have the appropriate cable buried in the back of my closet.
  5. Ok so just bought an Amplifi 150 and the FBV MKII shortboard and it is not performing like I expected. The Line 6 manuals are pretty spartan so thought I would come here for some help. I am using the Amplifi remote android system from my Galaxy S5. Here are my issues... 1. The amplifier seems to be working fine but I can't seem to either get the tone library patches to work or do any sort of tone editing. In other words I can use the 4 preset tones and I can stream music but if I want to engage a matching preset tone from the tone library, nothing happens. Also I tried to just edit one of the preset patches and the adjustments I make in the remote don't seem to make any audible changes. This is disappointing as it was the whole reason I bought this system. One other thing I will add is based on some of the videos I watched on YouTube, once the FBV is connected I thought the stomp box and wah tiles on the remote menu were supposed to light up but mine do not. Also in the main menu, the Tuner and Level buttons (under tools) are greyed out and don't work. Lastly, one thing I did in settings was to check the box that says Auto Tone Loading but that didn't seem to do anything and it actually seemed to uncheck itself when I restarted the remote. Not sure if any of this is relevant or not. 2. The footboard does not appear to be working properly at all. I can switch between the 4 presets and the volume/tone seem to work but the display is all messed up. I am linking to a video clip. There is no usable info on the display such as the tuner function, just random lines. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34YXxZf4gxc&feature=youtu.be Any help here would be greatly appreciated. I have several other Line 6 products and have found them pretty intuitive to troubleshoot on my own but I am a fish out of water here.
  6. Ok got it working. Not sure what changed but I unplugged from the port and re-plugged again and it is working now. I am a happy man. I believe the problem with the first unit was I was running from a 100mA port.
  7. Ok received my new unit and was having similar problems. I then tried plugging into a wall outlet using the supplied power supply and it worked fine so the issue must be do to the power supply on my board. I am using a Voodoo Lab Mondo. I am plugging into a high amperage 9V port. I am using the high output 9V DC port rated for 400mA or less so figured that would be fine since according to the adaptor for the G50, it is rated at 0.2A. Any suggestions? My power supply does have a courtesy outlet I could use but the horizontal design of the Line 6 adaptor plug makes it not fit under my board's tier.
  8. They have sent a replacement unit. Might arrive tomorrow
  9. I have emailed them. Waiting for a response. Pitbull Audio in SoCal. Will keep you posted.
  10. Actually yes I just flipped it over to RF1. Different set of displays but still no sound. on the receiver, upon power up i now get a sustained set of green LEDs for the transmitter signal at the top and bottom, red LED for audio, and no LED for power. Eventually, it goes to all green LEDs on the bottom for transmitter signal, the that goes away and I get red LEDs on the top for transmitter signal. Audio LED stays red the whole time and the power LED does not illuminate at all. Transmitter seems to be working fine.
  11. Just purchased a G50 and opened it up today. My transmitter does not seem to be communicating with the receiver at all. When I power up I get the green status bars then red but they quickly go away and then there are no bars showing for transmitter status. The transmitter itself is showing audio transmission with the green LED but I am not getting any Sound across the system. I tried multiple channels and nothing. Any suggestions before I return the unit? When I plug a hard cable I get sound through my signal chain so the issue isn't with my patch cables. Also just noticed my receiver power LED is not on while this is occurring but I do have the red audio LED on the receiver. As soon as the transmitter status bars go off, so does the audio LED but then the power LED comes on.
  12. Hello there. First time poster here. I use a DL4 and MM4 on my pedalboard. I currently own a Mesa Road King 2 combo amp but just purchased a Trem-o-verb combo in hopes of replacing it. If successful, the removal of the Mesa King Kontroller will open up a lot of real estate on my board which will be the perfect fit for the DM4 and FM4. My questions is in the interest of running all 4 modeling pedals from a single power supply, is the Voodoo Lab Mondo my only option? Right now I use the Pedal Power 2 and am pleased but it can only run two 12V pedals. The only potential problem with the Mondo is it is a bit wider than the PP2 and I don't believe I will be able to fit it under my tier without removing the center support column...which I don't think will be a big deal. I use a LYT 32 board and my only other powered pedals would be a Dunlop crybaby and a TC Electronic Polytune 2 Mini tuner, both standard 9V units.
