variaxbass 700 tone selector trouble!!

Are there anyone with selector trouble? My bass Vaxbass700 is goodone .However,the select dial is in trouble at the (manta)mode,I can hear only (prebass)sound ... Sometime manta sound appears only few sec with noise, and back to prebass sound.In this case the red led is always cancelled to green.How can I do this? In japan ,current dealer (YAMAHA) refused to repair the (legacy product),and the previous dealer abolished their parts.....
