OK. After some further USB connect/disconnect it suddenly worked. It may have been a contact problem. Thanks

I don't have any other USB devices attached except for the mouse. Can hardly disconnect that one.

I don't use a usb hub. I tried all USB ports on my PC and I always get that message. I just attached a pic of the message in the first post. I've re-checked the USB ports with my DigiCam and my Synthesizer and they all work just fine.

Hi everybody, The HD500 is connected to the computer via USB. I always get the attached error message. ??? I don't have MIDI cables. Doesn't work the update via USB cable? Thanks
