How is it then that damage could occur if not using both speaker outs??

I need help eq'ing spider iv 150 HD with external eq

OK what about test mode?? And does putting the amp in test mode affect the speaker outputs in anyway? Getting a little closer to what I'm looking for thanks in advance!!

He was actually the area general manager and he seemed quite knowledgeable in most areas!! He insisted that only in a tube amp would damage occur in that scenario.. That solid state amps do not apply to using both out as a must....and even in the manual says you CAN utilize both outs not that you MUST!! Confusing to me!

To me the amp effects just sound plain muddy! I'm trying to get good sounds for metal but all I'm getting is mud!?!
  7. I'm a little confused on how to get the most from my spider iv 150 HD, DigiTech element xp and behringer eq750!! This is how I have it hooked up..ltd m330 r to behringer eq then to DigiTech element xp then to amp. What I'm confused about is what exactly is happening if I boost lows at the eq pedal then do I zero them out on amp and element xp or don't boost at the eq pedal and boost at the element xp.?? There is 7 bands of eq on behringer 3 bands of eq on multi effects and 3 more bands of eq on amp!!

Not real sure on that one...I heard this can happen and my local GC salesman manager wrote me a 2 yr warranty covering speaker out failure for my 150 HD... He insisted this could not happen!! It obviously can..I'm worried now as I have been playing mine for 3 months now using only left out as was insisted by local GC manager no damage could occur!
  9. I need help figuring out exactly what effect on what frequency range I'm actually adjusting I'm having using a esp/ltd m330r ran to a behringer eq700 then to DigiTech element xp then to spider iv 150 HD ... I would like to tighten up the sound a little but I'm confused on how to achieve this having the option of using 7 bands of eq on pedal then 3 bands of eq on the mutieffex and an addition 3 bands of eq on the amp!! Help please!!
