I was wondering if anyone knows how to solve the crackling and popping sound? It works great but out of my PA it sounds a little like bacon cooking. If I use the four wire method on my Peavey Ranger 212 I don't hear it. It's driving me crazy!! It sounds like a camp fire popping and crackling. I can play but if I stop and just slightly touch the strings it kicks off a bunch of this sound. If I mute the strings I don't hear it.
