HI ! Right now I am setting up a punk-rock project. I go to shops, open-mics, talk to my friends, etc.. to ask advice about methods, hardware, softwares, etc in order to set up an amateur studio : the goal is to have a demo-cd and tracks to upload on soundcloud/bandcamp/mixcloud. I asked a DJ-friend if we could help me record my stuff on his computer. So he gave me a Line-6 UX2 soundcard, but no driver nor installation cd. Now I have this UX2 machine but can't get it to work, can't even try it out. So I registered to Line 6 community, created my account, downloaded Line 6 Monkey and the License Manager ... but still can't get nothing to work without having the hardware registered. Here I am, trying to get things to work, at least with a trial version, can anyone bring me some help or some advice please ?
