    Picking Control

j_hotch Thank you very much for your reply! I immediately tried the following operations. 1. Try adjusting the input impedance. Lowering it may get you closer to that soft attack sound. This operation is adjusted with "guitar in-z" in the input of each preset. It's probably like having a buffer installed. I'm very happy because it can be set for each preset instead of the whole, but I got the impression that the character of the sound changes considerably due to the phenomenon that the sound is filtered. Originally, it would have been very nice if it could be established by this operation. It may be that my setting is bad, but I'm sorry. There are various things. 2. Try turning on the input pad. If your signal is too hot it's going to wash out those picking dynamics. And next, I turned on the pad in the global setting. This is very effective and the picking control seems to be smooth! All my guitars are passive guitars, but I'm worried that the overall input will change, but for the time being, I'd like to try building a sound with this setting. Thank you very much for the proper guidance! I pay tribute to the fact that music goes beyond words!

    Picking Control

Nice to meet you. This is my first post. I used to own POD xt Live and was happy to be able to control it from Clean to soft Drive with just picking controls. However, with the advent of Helix, I was hoping that I could get closer to the desired nuance, but I decided to purchase it. I feel that the nuances of picking control are more difficult than before. This was a little nervous and quite confusing, but ... As I have many questions, I also considered converting from l6t to hlx, but it was impossible, so I tried to build the same settings with Helix as much as possible, but the sound was completely different. (sad) (At that time, the Amp setting could be controlled only with SOLO 100 Drive2.0, Bass5.0, Mid2.0, Treble3.0, Presens6.0, but has it become more delicate?) Or, in another way, try to maximize the extensibility of Helix by using different types of Amp in parallel .... etc. And now I'm struggling ... Do I have to think of this as a completely different thing from the beginning? Maybe it's just that my settings are bad, It may be a luxury problem with a high quality Helix, I would like to get some clues. (The sound I'm aiming for is Larry Carlton --Emotions wound us so (live Last Nite album) --YouTube). It may be an eternal theme with the sound that everyone wants ... Thank you for reading this far. Thank you for your time. Music makes everyone happy! P.S. I am from Japan.(Google Translator)
