I saw that I was eligible for a discount on Helix Native yesterday morning and bought it. It sounded absolutely terrible after I installed it. It was mainly like the clean signal with whatever preset I chose in the background like my speaker was made of springs and broken glass. I tried things like adjusting the levels, reinstalling Native etc. I was getting desperate and angry after struggling with it for a few hours when I googled a post on another website that said to make sure my Focusrite Scarlet 2i2's drivers were up to date. My Focusrite unit was only about six months old so how could the drivers be that much out of date to make a difference? I also have Positive Grid's Bias installed and have no problems with it. I checked and my Focusrite software actually was out of date so I downloaded and installed the latest version and voila! Now Helix Native sounds great. I don't know if I would have thought to do that on my own so thank you, internet.
