I had the same issue. I went to System Preferences, and down the bottom of the screen there was an icon for Line 6 Audio/Midi devices. I clicked on that and then plugged in my POD HD500 and it appeared on the screen with settings for latency etc. I then booted up the HD500 edit software and it worked, transferred all settings etc. Happy camper
