  1. SILVERHEAD: Thanks for your input. I fully understand the not wanting to divulge IP issue on current production &/or newly released items, but I've not encountered this with Fender on their brand, nor their Sunn schematics WHEN AN ITEM IS LONG SINCE OUT OF PRODUCTION! Any "double-E" competent of garnering a degree in a third world country can easily dismantle a newly intro'd product & then pirate the thing, so the IP premise is a puzzlement on the 15 year old stuff? I may take the time to set-up a tech account, but would prefer to avoid such. Thanks again, Tim
  2. I STARTED A TICKET BY SENDING THE FOLLOWING INTO LINE-6: "As both a repair tech, as well as owner of the referenced amp, I'm attempting to repair a "blown board" (# 35-00-4004; REV "D"; 3/5/01) on the RH/stereo channel of my amp. Before I began diagnostics on the amp/head I downloaded schematics, but am unable to locate the schematic for that previously captioned board. Upon removal I found badly discolored (& changed value) resistors @ the .22 ohm resistors for the Mosfets @ both Q14 & Q9. I have obtained suitable replacements from Mouser for all 4 of the .22 ohm resistors (I upgraded to a 3 W resistor for all 4 Mosfets), as well as buying all 4 of those IRFP250 Mosfets, which they feed. Please forward the schematic for the " # 35-00-4004; REV "D"; 3/5/01" circuit board. I want to test the remainder of that board before powering it up after replacing these resistors & Mosfets, to make sure I have no other compromised components Hopefully this doesn't turn into a situation where your firm does not supply such, "due to consumer risk" BS, as I've run into with other electronics firms! Thanks much, Tim" SADLY, MY FEARS OF "YOU CAN'T GET THERE FROM HERE" WERE REALIZED WHEN THEIR RESPONSE WAS: "Thanks for your support ticket inquiry. Line 6 does not offer self-repair advice or release any schematics to any source but authorized service centers, which can be found on our website. If you'd like to apply to be a service center, let us know and we'll put you in touch with the service department via email. We appreciate your interest in Line 6 products. Let us know if we can help with anything further." CAN ANYONE HELP ME ON THE SCHEMATIC FOR THIS # 35-00-4004; REV "D"; 3/5/01 BOARD (I don't necessarily think that it needs to be that exact revision &/or date code for my needs)? I'm wanting to use my variac &/or buck-boost units to put a correct voltage, but @ low current, to the board so I can read it with my O-scope before re-installing & powering it up @ "full throttle". YOU'D THINK IT WOULD BE EVIDENT TO LINE-6 THAT MY CAPABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE ARE BEYOND ME TAKING THE THING INTO MY BATHTUB TO PERFORM THE NEEDED DIAGNOSTICS/SERVICE!?!?!?!?!?=====DUH Thanks, Tim
