@ Gear Head You are more experienced than I am with the POD 500 so should I expect the display to show anything different during the reset phase. How to I know it has reset?

Powercycled the box like I powercycle my wifi router... that seemed to do the trick! * Keep the right arrow key pressed & power on the device. * Wait for a menu to come up. All components listed with a - against them * Keep the right key pressed all this while & power down The box comes up & behaves like it should have. Surprisingly a lot of videos on Youtube say that you need to press the left key for reset but that seems to be just wrong. Pressing the left key does nothing.

Ditto same issue with my brand new HD500 with some added excitement.... It freezes when I try to select a bank by pressing A,B,C,D buttons and after that nothing else works unless I power cycle. Then the story repeats itself over again :-( Very disappointed.
