I experience the same problem whether using the standard Line 6 Lav, a Shure Lav, a Countryman headset, and a samson headset. So I for me it's def. not related to a particular mic.

I specifically joined the forum because of this issue! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one... Means there is a chance at finding a solution. One place I mix we Have a XD-V70 Lav that has the high pitch whine.. I actually have a graphic EQ inserted to notch it out... Really makes it sound great.. :rolleyes: I personally own 3 XD-V75 Lavs and all of them exhibit the same problem. I've also tried the body packs with a Shure Capsule, which sounds quite nice, except the whine is even worse! One of my packs also is very prone to signal drop outs, so It needs repair anyway. But I'd love to find a solution to the Whine, whether it be DIY or an Official Line 6 Fix. I've just resigned myself to renting a rack of wireless gear when I book gigs. It's a bit annoying when I own a bunch of gear that is essentially useless at the moment. I have a couple of the XD-V75 Handhelds that have been awesome and completely trouble free. I'd love to have the Lav's working at that level.
