  1. Unfortunately, I ran into the same problem tonight. I edited the preset through HX Edit. I had two lines - on one volume pedal, a looper and a large reverb, on the other - several delays and big reverbs. I wanted to switch the speed of one of the delays using a foot switch. Then a similar story happened - all the buttons froze, the sound disappeared, and nothing changed after the reboot. What saved me - after the reboot, the first 2 milliseconds hx effects reacts normally, and MIRACULOUSLY in these 2 seconds I managed to copy another preset to the dangerous preset location. The processor freezes in the "data transfer" status, but after a reboot it turned out that he had rewritten it. I really hope that Line6 will fix this problem, as it turned out, there are a lot of people with such a problem, and this is unacceptable for an expensive device that is positioned as for concerts.
  2. Guys, who used Line 6 M9 and Ableton, tell me, please. Some kind of magic happens and something is wrong :) Line 6 M9 for some reason receives Midi CC messages from Ableton from ALL midi-channels, regardless of what channel is installed on it. With Program Change, everything is in order - it takes only from the required channel. This happens only if "Midi Sync Out" is on (to receive midi clock). If you turn it off, then everything is OK. With the rest of the pedals - everything is as it should. What could be the problem, and how to cure it? Thanks, and sorry for my English : )
  3. I want to use external sequencer like arturia beatstep with m9. Beatstep has cv-output and I want to connect it to an expression pedal input of m9. Will m9 receive signal from beatstep correctly and change effect parameters according to signal from beatstep? It works with EHX 8 Step Sequencer (example: https://youtu.be/uAdBdLFfs1w?t=4m25s; http://line6.com/support/topic/2837-m5-compatible-with-electro-harmonix-8-step-program-sequence-pedal/), but what about Arturia Beatstep ( KORG SQ-1 and others)?
  4. Hello, I became interested in the possibility of using CV-sequencers to create unusual things (like arpeggiators, step-octave patterns like "Map of the Problematique" by Muse and other) with my M9. I found it possible with EHX 8 Step Sequencer, but I would like to find a cheaper and or flexible (with MIDI Out for other devices, for example, but maybe without) devices. Can i use Arturia Beatstep ("1 volt per octave CV output as well as a standard 1 volt per octave Gate output") or something else (KORG SQ-1, for example)? Thanks for answering and sorry for my English) "These are the electrical signals sent by the BeatStep CV and Gate jacks: Control Voltage: 1 Volt/octave, from 0V to 7V Gate output: 8 Volts"
