    Maybe you pair an amp+cab with another cab, that sounds bad. As bad as using just an amp (not amp+cab) on its own. Pairing an amp an and a cab (single or dual) should sound nice. Please check out the block: is it amp or amp+cab? And in case, don't add another cab after amp+cab. Hope this helps.
