I am having the same issue. I tried different channels, transmitters, antennas, cables, etc.. I've gone through the same troubleshooting methods to no avail. Similarly, my receiver was left on for a 20+/- minute break. Upon returning, and turning on transmitter.. voila.. static, fuzz, interference, screaming, death.. Did something internally cook? resistor?
