Mobile POD still running after quitting the app and drains battery

This is not an issue on my iPad 2 but on my iPhone 6s Plus. -
I love the app but sadly there's no off switch and it keeps running long after I have exited from the app, I've looked for some way to quit the app other than deleting the app itself and losing all my saved tones. Does anyone know more about this issue?
