  1. Thanks for all the help. I'll try multiple ways....I haven't figured out how to have just a Volume Pedal in the POD w/o the amp. I haven't played with it enough I reckon. I like the idea of just putting a volume pedal after the FX going into my AC15. Worst case, I just bought a volume pedal. I'll use it for other things also. Spaceatl- you are correct. MY AC15 doesn't have a FX loop. I'm going directly from the POD to the Amp. When I used a pedal board and had multiple stand alone pedals I had to do the same thing. The AC15 is probably way more amp than I will ever need for my playing, I would have preferred a AC30, just didn't want the extra weight or cost involved for my playing.
  2. Hello all....I should know how to do this, but alas.... I am using my POD HD 500X running into a Vox AC15 Amp . So basically I'm using the POD for FXs only...Long story why...Suffice it to say, It's much easier to hear me in the auditorium in church with the amp as opposed to in-ears... I can't seem to hear with in-ears what I need to hear to make sure I am not over powering the rest of the band. Many times singers say it's either not loud enough or too loud. :( ...this should help some. My question is, is there a way to have the volume pedal assigned to the "outside" amp, not the modeler in the POD. I have disabled the amp in my patch and custom tone. I can see where you can have the volume for the amp in the POD, but I can't get the volume/wah/expression pedal tied to the Amp....DO I need a separate Volume pedal plugged into the Pedal 2 jack. Or when I run the cable going from the POD to the amp, just put a volume pedal there? Any help is appreciated. JT
  3. Ok...I should know the answer to this, but I am not much a techy when it comes to effects and digital signals....My question is, on a POD 500HDX, the "pitch glide" should allow to to change pitch on your guitar., correct? If my guitar is in std tuning (E, A, D, G, B E)....I'm playing a song in the key of C....but I learned the fingerings (solo) in the key of D....so I could drop the tuning of my guitar by a whole step and play as if I was playing in the key of D.... My question is: each number -1.0, -2.0, etc etc represents a half step either up or down? is that correct? so if I lowered things by -2.0 it would drop the tone by a whole step? If I "raised" it by +2.0 it would raise the tone by a whole step? Correct? I am not much of a tech person. this should be easy for me but its beyond my brain! Thanks for any help
