I just bought a JTV89 and realised that while in pickups mode all strings sounded OK, in Variax mode the volume of the G string was considerably lower (almost half) than all the other strings. I checked the strings' volume at Workbench and all strings were at 100%. I temporarily lowered the volume of all the other 5 strings to half volume until I find a proper solution to the problem. Now all strings sound equally loud but I am not satisfied at all with this. Any similar issues?
