    Fair enough...ultimately from these replies im more or less wasting time and i just need stop fiddling with this idea, program the HD500 and dial in the best i can...found a few patches from line6 community and will play round with those. Thanks again for everyones advice and help

    Thank you for the replies...the Hd500 is ultimately replacing my Boss me-70..the reason i wanted to hook them together was only temporary so i can hear the patches i have used the most from my boss while simultaneously programming them to the hd500 without having to keep unplugging cables back and forth between pedals.was hoping to get as close to my patches as possible..

    Been using Boss Me-70 for last two years and just bought a Pod HD500 and want to use both of them together but not sure the best way. My thought process was guitar into boss then using out to guitar in of pod hd500 to amp....any advice would be greatly appreciated
