  1. This Guitar sounds better just as a guitar than most of the models, especially the strats. Like Butter.
  2. I get a msg about browser settins not letting me paste. Windows 10. I can e-mail.
  3. Not able to post pics for some reason. My email is 2clean1103@att.net. Email me and I will gladly send pics.
  4. i do not have a cut out on the pickquard, but I see the nut, looks like I'll have a pro set it up for me. It seems That I also have the 6th string E that is very close to falling off the edgenear the body. I heard this was a problem on Korean models. Did US models have this, or is it just a set up issue, or nut issue? It does not affect my playing as I do not shred, but it seems string spacing is off.
  5. Thanks, I have never had a guitar or bass that you remove the neck. a bit of a pain, but considering how easy it is to string up...
  6. My first Quality guitar so please excuse the dumb question, how do you adjust the truss rod? do you have to remove the neck? or the pick quard?
  7. no case but I did get the gig bag which is pretty good. also only 1 battery came with it.
  8. they do not look like those, they are locking though.
  9. No, Gold Sparkle. Lace Gold sensor pups. Rosewood Fretboard.
  10. Thank you and BTW I found the correct hex wrench. It does not have a W in the serial number. It's USA. It's about time I got a deal, they have screwed me out of many a deal. Wow. Way to go GC
  11. Hello, I just bought a JTV Variax online from GC. I had not read anything about them other than Youtube demos, the only thing I knew was the models 69,89,59, I also knew there was a Korean and US model of the 59 and the US was expensive. so when I got online and perused the used section of guitars I came across a JTV -69s with updated pups for a little over $600, I jumped on it thinking it was a great price for the Korean made guitar. When I received the guitar it was in excellent condition (listed as good) not a scratch or worn fret, upon further look, I noticed it said USA on the front next to the Variax. On the back it says handcrafted in USA. Did I just get a deal? I can't find a price for these anywhere. is GC that Guitarded? or am I? So far I am enjoying the sounds and feel of a good guitar. ONE PROBLEM I have not found an answer to is how to intonate, is it a set neck? no truss rod? what tool is used for the saddles? any help is greatly appreciated, I would rather be playing than writing and researching.
