New firmware is out. Try that. Also, make sure your patch cable from the guitar to the transmitter is not the issue. I had a bad one that shipped with my G70 that caused dropouts, and I swapped it out for another patch cable and it worked fine. Then I contacted Line6 and they sent me a replacement. A new locking cable for the G70 is $19.99, FYI.

There should have been a micro-USB cable and USB power adapter in the box. The G70 receiver can be powered either by a 9V DC connection or the micro-USB jack. I would recommend getting a 9V power supply for long term use, but the USB power supply that comes with it will work out of the box. Somebody at the factory screwed up and left it out of the box, or someone at the retailer stole the adapter and cable out of your box, because the G70 system comes with the adapter and a USB to micro USB cable. It's in the manual and everything... I know it's about a year too late, but I would have contacted Line 6 about sending me a USB power adapter.

I was wondering if the G70 aux in can take a line level signal or is it only instrument level? If so, it could be used as a re-amp box. I can't find anything in the manual that confirms or disconfirms this.

Just FYI, There's a new firmware for the receiver. Version 1.05. Seems to work well so far.
