I had an old man moment...I had the receiver plugged into the USB 3.0 port...That will jack up the universe. I now have the latest firmware installed. LOL!!!

Ok... Here's my issue. I have the Latest and Greatest version of the Line 6 Updater...Version 1.10. I hook up my USB cable to the Receiver and the CPU, as I log into Line 6 Updater. I get the screen which tells me that it doesn't recognize the transmitter due to a driver missing. My understanding is that this unit does not require a driver to update the firmware on this unit. Can somebody give me a clue what the hell I need to do here? I am running an ACER PC with Windows 10 if that makes any difference. Thanks!

The singer and I both got these units to use for our shows. We both had issues with dropouts...and for the Line 6 Expert...yes...we docked them for 10-20 seconds to reset channels. I am trying to get the Line 6 Updater to update this G10 unit, but it says I don't have the proper drivers to do that. So...if there isn't any drivers to download, how does that work? I will give this unit a go another time or two for practice, but I can say as of now, I'm really disappointed. I'm annoyed at the fact that there is a hint of any reason to have to download firmware for a wireless device. This should be hook up and go. There is always potential for outside interference, but damn. -
My Firehawk Fx had Firmware 1.01.00. I went to update via USB and could not get it to take. I tried to update via the APP...It got about 10% completed, and stopped...guessing Bluetooth connection. I get a fail code and all 4 channel buttons blink red. I am at a loss. Thinking real hard about shipping this back to Sweetwater. For a device that's supposed to be so easy...it's been nothing but a pain in the lollipop. I just purchased this in the middle of September...I couldn't use the app because the firmware was out of date (per the message on the app) and because it's the initial firmware, I couldn't manually edit. I have a $350 boat anchor at this point. Not real happy.
