  1. Thanks for the reply. If the 12" and Horn provide a nice spread on their own, then I may give it a try (then I'll always have the option of going wet-dry-wet if I really want to) ...
  2. I am strongly considering the Firehawk 1500 as an FRFR system - whether just using it with the Firehawk amps/effects, as an acoustic gig amp, or as a platform for my Helix. One of the main "features" of this amp/monitor that has my attention is the 6 speaker configuration which will hopefully provide a lot more "spread" on stage so that it is easier to hear myself at lower volumes without standing right in front of a single directional speaker. However - I don't have any interest in running it in stereo or wet/dry/wet at this time. I'm sure that sounds great, but I barely ever use stereo effects and I don't want to run 4 cables back and forth across the stage. My questions are: 1) If I just run a single guitar cable into the guitar input on the Firehawk 1500 without using any stereo effects, will the mono signal be amplified through the entire 6 speaker full range system, or just through the 12 inch speaker and tweeter? 2) Similarly - if I just run a single XLR cable from a small mixing board into the mono input on the back for an acoustic gig, will I be amplifying through all 6 speakers? This is perhaps more important, because in this situation, I wouldn't have a sound guy or PA - the Firehawk would be the lone source of amplification for a coffeehouse-type acoustic gig. I guess it really boils down to this: Are the 4 left/right speakers only engaged in a stereo situation, or can I send a mono signal that will "hit" all 6 speakers? Thanks!!!
