  1. Hello, I am trying to figure out how to record a basic acoustic set using my TonePort UX2. I don't need fancy tones, just a way to directly record raw acoustic and mic. I was hoping originally to just use Audacity. I did see someone on YouTube achieving this, so I know it's possible. Just so you know, I have basically no experience with recording (I'm sure it's easy to tell from my post). This is what I have done so far: Due to the CD not working with WINDOWS 10 64bit, I had to install TonePort from the Line 6 Website. I installed in this order: DRIVERS (Version 4.2.7.6) PODFARM 2 - Trial Version (Version 2.59) LINE 6 LICENSE MANAGER (Version 1.10) LINE 6 MONKEY (Version 1.72) I couldn't get GearBox as it doesn't seem to be supported on Windows 10. Then after changing the settings as instructed in the first 45 pages of this manual: http://line6.com/data/6/0a060b316ac34f0593ccf3e0a/application/pdf/POD%20Farm%202%20Recording%20Setup%20Guide%20%20-%20English%20(%20Rev%20A%20).pdf I installed Ableton LiveLite 5.2.2 (Line 6 Edition) from the CD that came with TonePort. I then ACTIVATED the VSTs for PodFarm 2. Everything is registered and authorised on Ableton and Line 6. I have this hardware: TonePort UX2 (RED Face) Headphones (Jack, not mini jack) 2 electric guitars, 1 electro/acoustic 2 jack to jack leads 1 beyerdynamic mic 1 XLR cable Sony Surround Sound System 1 Mini Jack - Jack Cable I can hear my selected tones in PODFarm 2 Stand Alone app, they play from my Surround Sound (Which is plugged into the "Phones" input on the UX2). The problem is that when I load PODFarm 2 into LiveLite it doesn't make any sound at all, so I can't record a thing. In the manual it just said "We have recorded a stereo audio clip in Audio Track 1, so let’s insert the POD Farm 2 Plug-In here." but I don't know how they did that? :( Is it something to do with getting PODFarm to play internally, rather than from my Surround Sound/Headphones? If so, how do I achieve this? Do I need ToneDirect or GearBox? This seems like sorcery, whoever can work this out without help from a professional needs a medal. :P P.S. If it is easier to record using 'Audacity' then I will do that and use more simple programmes for my percussion, then merge them with something like Virtual DJ as I can do that easily.
