Just to give a basic run down...I am self taught on the acoustic. Making a switch to electric. New to just about everything there is to electric guitar and pedals. How they work, what signal order to place in. I play in church and a lot of songs use a transparent overdrive. I don't see an actual transparent option but I thought maybe there was a way to dial it in on the settings with just a regular overdrive. Can this be done? How?

I wouldn't count on any "new" stuff for the HD platform. At this point, it's at least twice as old as this thread. Smart money says there will eventually be some new product(s) in the POD price range...probably sooner than later, as the Helix furor subsides a bit. Nothing lasts forever.

I am new to the pedal world and it May have been mentioned by brand name and I just don't know it but I use my hd500x for church and could really benefit with a transparent overdrive!
