  1. Ah ok I think I found my problem, thank you for the link! I believe I must have crossed a couple of the connections between the pod fx loop and the amp fx loop.
  2. I just got the POD HD PRO X last night and spent a few hours playing with it and trying to hook it up properly. I watched some you tube vids and looked through quite a few forum posts but maybe what I am wanting to do is not possible? I am hooking this up to a Blackstar HT40 tube combo amp with an FX loop. I want to be able to use the preamp/knobs on the front of the Blackstart to change channels, use the ISF eq, regular eq etc. I want to use the distortion/drive stomps on the POD and have those go in before the Blackstar preamp. I want to use the FX like delay, reverb, etc from the POD through the Blackstar FX loop. I tried what is called the 4 cable method and it ends up putting both distortion/OD stomps and effects all through the FX loop and the knobs and such on the front of the Blackstar don't do anything other than the reverb and master volume. I bought the POD to replace my pedal board all together, and I want it to function just like a standard pedal board. Distortion/OD before the Blackstar preamp and effects in the FX loop without loosing the preamp on the Blackstar. Is this possible?
