Hello I am running a keith mcmillan soft step as midi in and then midi thru to a boss 505 loop pedal. The soft step is the controller for the looper but I send it through the helix so I can gain the added foot switches in the helix as additional messages to the boss looper. Everything has been going great but today I was working on some things and I pressed button 1 on softstep which is CC1. It seems to be triggering EXP1 for some reason. In other words. I have a volume block in Helix set to EXP1. I go to the patch, turn up EXP1 and volume is good, I go to Softstep and volume goes to zero. I push up the EXP1 pedal to 100 all good. I press the button 1 on Softstep and Volume goes to zero, i hold that button down and volume goes to 100 I let it go and it goes to zero. This is strange and I searched my settings and couldn't find why. I did just update to 2.20 firmware. Is this a known bug? Any ideas on a fix. Temporarily I assigned EXP2 to the volume block and that works for now but makes EXP1 and the looper completely incompatible currently. This was not the case before. Either I changed something without realizing or firmware 2.20 has a bug? Thanks Todd

Hi Guys, thanks for the responses here. I found that I can turn up the gain in the input channel and get some more from it. The reason I am wanting to get more gain is to work with the dry signal and process internally in my DAW. Sometimes using electric guitar, acoustic guitar, acoustic bowed guitar. So looking for options. Thanks! Todd

Just got my Helix and digging it so far. Anyone tell me how to adjust the Dry Signal level when recording both Helix wet signal and Dry thru USB7 input. Where is the level adjustment for that USB7? Thanks
