Thanks for getting in touch. I'e spent 2 days straight trying to update via pc and the updated app which just kept saying error update failed, also tried BT via my iPad, just gave me frozen screen when I tried to update. Everywhere I looked; here and elsewhere on the internet I was advised to ignore previous updates and just chose the latest...wrong. in my case anyway. I downloaded 2.50.2 which then allowed me to download 2.61.00. Was within a gnats nuts of binnng the unit altogether. Thanks anyway for your offer of help.
