Yeah I can't upgrade my neighbor's laptop - which is 10.8.5 and doesn't belong to me My own much older laptop is still on snow leopard and will go no further....which is why I'm borrowing more advanced tech. It's 32 bit and the line 6 helix software will only run on 64. I did the previous upgrade (2.11) using my neighbors machine no problem But the upgrade to 2.20 - the updater software won't start up and gives the above error message. I have installed and re-installed it using the editor .dmg and the updater .dmg but no go. Thanks for taking the time to comment. :) I started this thread to see if anyone else had a similar problem, as a search of the KB revealed nothing.

Hi I'm trying to upgrade my Helix. But the updater program will not start under 10.8.5 which is what I'm using. Error message attached. Anyone have any ideas? I can't upgrade as I have to use a neighbours computer to use anyway as my macbook is only 32 bit and can't go any further. Maybe I shouldn't have bought such an expensive piece of gear as it seems to require the latest in computer tech to go with it. Error.txt
