HX Stomp - how to use with Tube Amp and load-box?

Hi All, Just wanted to ask the best approach to using my HX Stomp purely for IR's and FX - I have a Laney amp head arriving alongside a Suhr reactive load box. So, obviously the amp > reactive load - then i'll use the unbalanced DI out > HX Stomp - can I just use the normal input - or do I go into the send of the fx loop? Just wondered if anyone has a view on best approach here. Cheers
