Thanks to everybody for the help and support, it's working great, and it's good to have the one sound I used in a song back again. I feel like I'm in good hands if I ever have any problems as I learn how things work. I've also have a Kemper and a Digitech 2120 I've had for years. I will play till I die, so I better find a special old folks home for musicians.

Thanks man, even a video, I should be good now. Every time I tell my age, feeling like an old buzzard, I told I'm not alone. Usually by someone older, glad we can still feed on this tasty technology.

I guess I should have asked how to get the presets in the Helix. I don't use it connected to my Mac, but I know I have to do that. So do I move them into the Line 6 folder first, or what?

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. The Helix is awesome, but I'm a total noob when it comes to creating/editing sounds. Unlike those on the forum who dump all presets and start form scratch on the first day, I have to have a starting point. But they are like Gods to me, and this thing is pretty deep, so it will take a lot of effort to get close to that level. I'm a 60 year old couch sitting guitar player, so presets give me inspiration and really show off a lot of what this thing can do. Thanks again!

I've had my Helix for a short time. I love the unit, and I was still just exploring the sounds with version 1.xx.x or something. One of the sounds inspired me to write a song, I think it was Late Night Swim or Night Time Swim, then I plugged in one morning and the sound level was greatly diminished. I could not figure out why, so with prompting from support, I installed the newest firmware and it was fixed. But that factory preset seems to be gone. I there a way to get it back? Other sounds don't quite make it on the Helix or my Kemper.
