  1. Hi All, As you probably know when sitting, the toe down switch to engage the wah or volume function on the FVBMKII can be a bear. There is a cure. Remove the dual rubber bumpers under the expression pedal. They are keeping the toe press stiff. They are easy to see, just take a side look under the pedal toward the front. You'll have to remove the base of the FBV unit and then the pedal itself to get at the bumpers. It sounds difficult but isn't if you're are careful. Take note of the assembly before you take it apart. Take pictures if you need to be sure. Then take a pair of pliers and pull the bumpers off. It's that simple. Put the assembly back together. If you did it right you'll get easy toe down presses between volume and wah. If you feel it's too easy to press down stuff a chunk of foam under the expression pedal. Trim it to taste. Enjoy.
  2. Hi Guys, Is there a source for the factory settings for a Spider IV 30? The pilot guide is all I can find and it doesn't say. I downloaded the IV Advanced guide and it covers all that's in my amp and more. Can I assume the descriptions in the advanced guide are accurate for my amp? -Thanks
