I'll be performing next week , so I need to create a patch close to a Frusciante tone.
So far I have:
FasselWah-BoostComp-ClassicDistortion-FuzzPi-Plexi Lead 100 br(Gain:20 | Bass:40 | Mid:75 | Treb:75 | Pres:70 | Volum:70) - Brit 4x12 (57 on axis)-Analog Chorus-Panned Phaser- Room Reverb
I have everything in stock, so I need your advice to tweek every effect and ESPECIALLY the Amp because it sounds muddy.
I tried a Soldano Amp and I think it sounded better, however everyone says I should use the "Marshal" model since Frusciante used one.
This is the setlist, so you guys can tell me if I'm picking the right stuff:
-Tell me baby (Clean,PannedPhaser,FuzzPi)
-Snow (Clean,ClassicDistortion)
-Otherside (Clean,ClassicDistortion)
-Dani California (Clean w reverb,FasselWah,FuzzPi,PannedPhaser)
-By the way (Clean, I dont know what to use for the verse .. : / )
-Scar tissue (slane castle solos) ( Clean, ClassicDistortion?)
-Around the world (ClassicDistortion, maybe Wah, Clean) - bridge pickup?
-Under the bridge (Clean, Analog Chorus)
-Californication (Clean, amp doesn't sound "clean enough" during the chorus)
-Zephyr Song (Clean w reverb, BoostComp for the solo)
-Can't Stop ( No matter what I do, this one sounds awful, I'm curently using the BoostComp for the rythm, but doesn't sound right) - Mid pickup?
-Give it away (ClassicDistortion, bridge pickup)
I have an MIM Fender Stratocaster HSS.
