  1. I was wondering if it is even possible to convert HD500 presets to work on the Line6 HD150?
  2. I get to the screen (on Line 6 License Manager) where it says (Yellow exclamation mark) Disabled add-ons need to be installed to your device. Click the install button to install these add-ons. It doesn't show any add-ons listed. I hit the install button. It tells me to power cycle my HD to finish installing the add-ons. I power cycle the HD and check for the new amp models and I still have the standard pack. I've tried another computer, I've factory reset my HD500 and get the same issue. Everything is updated according to Line6 Monkey. I don't understand what the issue could be. I do have a ticket opened up with Line6. We have been working to resolve the issue for the past 2 days. I was wondering if anyone would have any other ideas for me to try?
  3. I purchased the HD Metal Pack. I updated everything on my HD500. I made sure that my HD500 was authorized. I got to the screen where I was told to cycle the HD500 and check for my addons. I unplugged the POD for several minutes and then I went to check for the HD Metal Pack on the POD and it says that I still have the Standard Pack. I went through my amp models and they're not there. I don't know, if I did something wrong or what is going on?...Any suggestions.
  4. Mine says it has the Standard Model Set.
  5. Yeah, Choptones. I like volumes 2 & 3 from the Choptone Metal Pack series. I saw where it says that the model pack may be required to use them. Can someone tell me what the model pack is? Is that Volume 1 from the Metal Pack? If it is, how can you tell if you have the Metal Pack Volume 1 already installed on your pedal? I bought my Pod HD500 from a previous owner and I don't know if they had already bought it or not. I don't want to buy the Metal Pack Volume 1, if I already have it.
  6. I am interested in purchasing metal tone patches for my HD500. I don't really like the sounds of the Volume 1 pack but really like the 2nd and 3rd volumes. Do I have to have Volume 1 before purchasing Volumes 2 & 3?
  7. Using the gate after the amp model worked but now I am hearing a popping noise when I pick my top string. It only pops on the first stroke of the pick. It goes away until I stop and go to play on the top string again. Any suggestions?
  8. Thanks, I will try it. I'll let you know if it works or not.
  9. I own a HD500 and I'm still a newbie. I'm hoping someone has a solution to my problem. When I load a preset or make one of my own, I have the noise gate(s) turned and I set up my distortion. My noise gate threshold is around 80 or so and my decay is at around 12. I have tried using hard gates also but nothing seems to work. When I go to an abrupt palm mute it sounds like the signal is still going... like there is reverb but I haven't selected any other effects, yet...just noise gate(s) and distortion(s), in that order and before the amp model(s). I am using a Schecter Omen Active 6 string with Seymour Duncan active black out pickups. Could there maybe be something with my pickups that is causing this problem? Has anyone else had this issue and if so does anyone know how to fix it? I have a show coming up soon and don't want this issue still going on while I am playing live.
