Apologies if this has been asked before but i'm pulling my hair out trying to sort this and I have a gig tonight!
I recently purchased a 5150 combo which i love, however i'm having issues running the Helix LT through the effects loop. I have followed a number of videos on youtube, none of which seem to mention my problem nor solve it. I'll be as brief as a can...
Basically, I think I am only hearing the effects loop most of the time. Its a clean signal. I can get the amps drive channels to work, but I also hear a clean signal over the top of it. Then if i use the delay in the loop, it just delays a clean signal? I have no idea what I've done wrong as the 4cm is set up exactly as the video suggests.
In terms of the patch I have tried using the effects loop block as well as the send/return blocks. I still have the same problem. Just wondering if anyone has a quick fix?
I should also mention that as soon as a plug any cables into the 5150 it cuts the sound from the instrument input. Is this normal?? I have also tried using the preamp out from the 5150 but this hasn't had any effect.
Currently at work, so I cant try out anything for a few hours but I'd be very grateful for some help!

One last thing - I had a blackstar head and 2x12 cab before this 5150, set up the exact same way. I used the midi in the to switch channels as an addition to the 4cm. I never had any issues with the exact same setup im trying to use now.
