Convrting TBP12 Bias to Phantom Power

Hello all, Has anyone tried using a Buck DC-DC convertor to step the 5VDC Bias voltage at pin 2 up to a voltage that can supply phantom power to a measurement mic such as the isemcon EMX 7150? I'm looking to build a convertor cable / box that will look after the XLR - TA4F conversion and also allow phantom power injection. Cheers in advance! Andy
