  1. Anyone else frustrated with this? I have looked for days for a solution to this problem. (the problem is at 'The con' part, a little below) I am a bass player, and I love the fact that this series leaves my clean bass signal completely intact. I experience no tone suck at all. I have been using the m5 for a while now, and it has the best sub octave i have ever used. SUPERB tracking and REAL subs. The frequencies are real, not feel. Now, I had almost decided I was gonna go for the m9 to completely substitute my pedal board. How amazing would that be? So, lets list the pros: - No tone suck - Relatively cheap - Small footprint AND lightweight (flyable!) - Need only one adapter - Great effects - Don't need a pedalboard, patch cables, velcro etc. - Porbably more. The con (singular for me) - Not ONE drive/fuzz/dist. model has the possibility to let the clean signal be mixed with the effect. This seems like a small thing, but for me it voids most of the pros. I have to get an additional pedal (standalone drive or something) which will result in: - Tone suck - More expensive - heavier and need more space - To fight tone suck, need: Fx looper (added weight, space etc) - Need a multi isolated dc brick (added space weight) - Need a pedal board, patch cables, velcro etc. (added space weight) - Not flyable. - Don't need the m9, will stay with the m5 for the oct and maybe delays only. To me, it seems like a nobrainer to release a firmware update with +/- 3 (A TS and a fuzz) models with a blend knob or clean/wet volumes. How much work can it be? And guaranteed you will sell numerous units to bass players who have the same problem as I do. (I know you're out there) It's just ONE con, but a complete dealbreaker nonetheless. I sincerely hope this will get picked up. Upon release of such an update, I will march to the store immediately. Best, Oscar. (SUPPORT THIS IDEA BY LEAVING A COMMENT) So we might see who many people actually have this problem.
