  1. I have a XD-V55 receiver that came with a XD-V70L (TBP12) transmitter. It was a lavalier mic setup. I wanted to start using this XD-V70L transmitter for guitar with my G90 and G50 receivers. However, when I try that transmitter with guitar and those receivers, the input signal clips on the receiver (turns red) a lot. This leads me to believe that the XD-V70L version of the TBP12 is EQ'd a little hotter or has a higher output volume. Is there a way to make this transmitter more usable with instruments? Tone down the output? I hope this makes sense. Thanks DM
  2. So I have my M5 and a Roland EV5 expression pedal. When I power up my board and recall my pitch glide preset via midi the first time, the whammy is automatically in the "+12 octave range which is the high range I set my preset to. What I'd like is that the first time I recall the preset, that it defaults to the 0 pitch change (no whammy effect). Does that make sense? Is this possible?
  3. plugged in the USB cable, and then I was able to do a factory reset (left nav pad and power on). Then I fired up Line 6 Monkey and I could update the flash memory (I downloaded the update from the Line 6 software page) via where I downloaded the file to. Now everything works as expected.
  4. Sorry to revive an old post, but I've recently been dealing with this. And I wanted to share what worked for me. I bought another used POD HD desktop from ebay. I couldn't update the Flash memory, POD HD Edit couldn't connect and my DAW couldn't see it. Specs: POD HD desktop WIN 7 (and WIN 10) machine I kept getting that 8000...* error. I tried different USB ports on my PCs. I tried different USB cables. Nothing. I tried to do a factory reset (power it on while holding left on the navigation pad). It would reset either. I'm thinking this POS is bricked. A little more persistence paid off. I plugged in the USB cable, and then I was able to do a factory reset (left nav pad and power on). Then I fired up Line 6 Monkey and I could update the flash memory (I downloaded the update from the Line 6 software page) via where I downloaded the file to. Now everything works as expected. What a PITA! LOL. Good luck to others.
  5. I called into Line6 and Jason P helped me out. We couldn't figure out what version my tbp12 is running so we believe it is very old. But we do have a plan to get it updated now. Thanks
  6. I'm trying to update the TBP12 firmware. But when I hold down value and power off the unit and hit select, I never get the loader screen. I wonder if the current transmitter firmware is less than 1.03. How can I tell on a TBP12 which firmware it has? Especially if it is older
  7. so that was it. just increase my preset volume and it works fine. thanks
  8. So when using the POD Pro HD X as my interface to record over USB. I have the ASIO driver selected in Reaper and it works just fine. But the record level is a bit low. Meaning I'm not getting enough volume into my tracks. How can I adjust this?
  9. Yeah, I notice the same behaviour. I can disable the cab but the mic is always on and it does affect tone. I'm a Axe FX guy that is trying to learn this POD HD Pro X intereface. In the Axe we can globally disable the Cabs/mics and/or the power amp sims to fit whatever situation you are using the device. So now I just turn off the cab in the preset I'm going to use with the power amp. I'd also like to turn off the mic sim to but can't figure out how.
  10. Just acquired a used POD PRO HD X. Trying to use it straight into my Mesa power amp. So I set the output setting to combo/stack power amp. But when I dial up an amp pre model, it still has a cab and mic setting assigned to it. What am I doing wrong?
  11. I don't have my Peak2005 controller in front of me, but I recall you have to set the preset (P4 in your case) to both turn on and off. I did this when I used it with the TC Electronic G Major 2. So you can enable the preset to use the tuner you click it once, then you'll click the same preset to turn it off. Make sense?
