  1. so basically i just run this like a normal external pedal but without using an amp block infront of the cab? hmmm well thats pretty easy then! :D yeah - i really dont know much about all this poweramp stuff, but i still kinda have thought that running a poweramp infront of the helix could do some serious damage... glad youve still mentioned it though :)) thank you very much! i am off now buying me a new pedal/preamp :D
  2. Hi, I am searching the web for quite a while now but could not find an answer to my question. So there are this new Victory Tube Preamp pedals and I am thinking of buying the sheriff as I really like the sound of it. In a physical (real) amp chain you would put the sheriff in the fx-loop to bypass the preamp using only the poweramp section to drive the cab. My question is now, how do i do this in helix if I want to use only a cab in helix (no real amp)? I really don't understand how to set this up in the chain.... i can not put an external poweramp infront of the helix I guess.... but how do i drive the cab then as there would be no amp in the chain at all!? Do I miss something? Thank you in advance. Sincerely
