i have been fooling around trying to use only the effects of my bass pod pro (1st model i think i have had it for 15 years) what i came up with does what i want. i just want to make sure what i am doing is right. bass into other amps input. other amps effect loop out to bass pod pros re-amping input on back with input switch on the front to line DI out of bass pod to input of other amps effects loop then use apply fx to DI button on front of bass pod. this makes it so the gain, bass, middle, treble, channel volume, compressor knobs on the front of the bass pod pro don't effect the sound in any way. the only knobs that do anything are the effect select, effect tweak and main volume like i said this seems like its doing what i want just need a second opinion
