I wonder about this myself. I did a little searching when I got the unit to see when HX Edit would be fully implemented for the Effects. Line 6 has suggested spring of this year. I suspect CustomTone will be up around that time.
I too am loving this unit. I'm not much for amp sims, but have re-amped my guitar tracks with digital effects for a long time. This fit the bill perfectly (and at a cozy price). I'm already liquidating most of my pedal collection.
Can't wait to start sharing patches with people!
