Hey guys, I'm looking to get way better at building Helix patches and I'm on a quite to make the most tube sounding patch I can, that sounds great in my in ears (Alclair Audio Dual XB)...Something that sounds a warm and juicy as the video below... I've bought many patches from the more well known patch providers, but they all seem to sound harsh and fizzy. Is there a good guide on best practices for crafting patches? Thanks Mike

I'm plugged into a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface (with a 1/4" guitar cable) that is connected to my Macbook Pro via USB I have an instance or Reaper open and on track one, Helix Native is running as a VST. I'm monitoring through studio monitors. It sounds/feels like I'm hearing the clean tone along with the overdriven tone like when you've got the monitor input switched on...except I have it switched off. Thanks Mike

I've got a dirty patch loaded up in Helix Native in Reaper and I can hear what appears to be the clean/uneffected guitar sound coming through. I've tried turning monitoring off and on... With monitoring off, I just hear the clean tone With it on, I hear the dirty tone with the bonk bonk of the clean tone. Any idea how to get rid of the clean tone? The bonk bonk noise suck the lift out of the dirty tone :-)

So I'm trying to update my Helix to 3.61. I downloaded the update, backed up my Helix and now the "update now" button is greyed out. Am I missing a step? HX Edit appears to be up to date. Thanks Mike

Is there a way to adjust the tension on the Helix built in expression pedal? mine is very tight/stiff and tough to move smoothly.

Since updating to firmware 2.80, my Helix will randomly get stuck in snapshot mode. (in)conveniently enough it always happens right as we're taking the stage. Once stuck in snapshot mode like this, there's nothing I can do on the Helix to get it out of that mode and I'm stuck with one sound for the whole gig turning my $2000 Helix into a nearly useless box. Please tell me there's a fix. I'm happy to receive another Helix to see if it does the same thing but I know I cannot continue like this.

So a guy at our church gets a great auto volume swell sound with his DL4 I grabbed a snap shot of it and it appears to be a setting called "Auto Volume Echo" Any idea how to replicate it in the Helix? Delay time = 6 Repeats = 6.5 Tweak = 4 Tweez = 1.5 Mix = 7.8

Is there a way to change a patch built in snapshot mode to Stompbox Mode? I got the Tremonti Tone patch from here and it's got no clean sound in it. Also only has snapshot mode...or I don't know how to flip it to stompbox mode. Thanks Mike
