  1. I use my Helix Rack the typical way but also as an interface with my PC for recording. I send a dry guitar signal to the PC to use with other amp sims (Neural, McRocklin etc). Can I run a power amp through the Captor Load Box and still use the Helix as my interface or do I nend a standard interface such as a Focusrite?
  2. So this issue has not stopped me from playing and for a brief instant (10 seconds) the problem corrected itself but reverted back to the unwanted sound. I am systematically eliminating potential issues - cables, inputs, outputs but I haven't tried isolating each path (DSP) as suggested by codamedia. I will try that next and I have opened a support ticket with Line 6. Thanks for the feedback - greatly appreciated!
  3. The Helix out via 1/4 line (mono) to power amp then cabinet. I tried the amp and cabinet - Marshal TSL 100 and Harley Benton cab without the Helix and it sounds fine. I did make some adjustments in Global Settings to switch it over to line for recording but I switched it back. I also reset Global Settings to default but still no improvement.
  4. Turned on my Helix rack yesterday and it seems there is some type of effect that sounds like a little bit of phaser on every preset and snapshot. I started a new patch and included just an amp by itself but the sound is still being affected by whatever is running in the background. I've checked global settings but to be honest I don't know what to look for...anybody experience this?
