VERY IMPORTANT !!!!!! I had all these problems, the solution and the correct procedure to avoid these problems are as follows: Step 1: Instal HX Edit 2.8 BEFORE updating the helix unit, HX edit has some files that are needed for the installation. Step 2: install the Line6 updater 1.17. Step 3: Connect your helix unit to your computer and turn it on in "Update mode". (buttons MODE and TAP for helix floor/LT) Step 4: Run the line6 updater, select your unit and select "local file" use the file you downloaded form the website, the installation may take 2 to 3 minutes, very fast and safe.
