Aloha, just took shipment of Helix floor and wanting to control a drum machine start/stop, forward/back functions with it. I was told/heard/read somewhere that I could assign the footswitches to accomplish this. I have assigned footswitches 9, 10, 11 respectively, set command to mmc & desired message, checked midi channel assignments, but the drum machine (Boss DR-880) does not see/respond to footswitch commands. Am I missing something? Thanks for the help.
