    OK now it has mysteriously started working normally. I did plug an expression pedal in. Not sure if that had something to do with it...

    OK am I being totally dense? I got an M9 and the value #5 (usually output or mix) would just wander around on its own. Sometimes it wouldn't respond to the knob, sometimes it would actually respond when I turned OTHER knobs. Usually when I turned it it would oscillate a little. I assumed this was defective so I ordered a second one.... The second one does the exact same thing. Am I missing something obvious? Thanks
