  1. Ah, ok. Thanks for the quick reply :-)
  2. Hi, fellow L6 Users, Did I miss an email or memo? It seems IdeaScale is no more and you can only submit "Product Feedback" on the Line 6 webpage. There doesn't seem to be a way I can find to view/monitor other users' ideas and comments for present and future products now. That's really too bad, it was good to know what others thought about additions to already great products. Does anyone know if a new format/website was created to allow users to submit ideas? Thanks. Dan
  3. Any further news/information from Line 6 on this update? It seems like it was there on day of the Helix release, then I looked again later and it was gone. I am looking forward to the feature to save the on/off state of presets and also the ability to see the names of the patches I create when scrolling rather than the preset names. Where is it? Inquiring minds want to know. :-)
  4. Oh, didn't realize that, thanks for the help. I will try this out tomorrow. Appreciate it. :-)
  5. Thanks a lot for the quick reply :-) I forgot to say that I would like to use the SY-200 at same time with the FR5, basically for thickening up quick guitar fills and intros in places.
  6. Hi all, I have just purchased the HX One for a small pedalboard with Fly Rig 5 v2 using the 4 cable method, and scrolling a small number of presets (6) with a Mission TT-2 footswitch. I tried it out tonight at practice and it works great! A question for those more fluent in connecting external pedals to HX One. I have a Boss SY-200 synth pedal I want to add to this pedalboard to use from time to time. What would be the best location for this pedal? Directly after the HX One right before the FR5, before the HX One, or in the 4CM effects loop of my FR5 v2? Thanks for any help on this!

    Snapshot Naming

Hi, Quick question. Thanks to various Youtube videos I just learned of a feature of Pod Go that is very beneficial to me, that being the ability to have both Snapshots selectable up\down on the two leftmost switches, while also having the remaining four switches functioning as Stomp pedals. I tried it out this past Sunday at church and worked great! I do have one minor thing though. While setting up the 4 Snapshots in the patch I also renamed them to text more meaningful to me. When I utilize the Snapshot/Stomp mode the Snapshot names just show as default, not what I named them. I know I can see the Snapshot number in the display but it's kinda small for these 68yr old eyes. Is there something i missed or a hack around this? Would I maybe be able to edit this in the .pgp file? I can live with it but would be nice to see the actual names I gave them. Thanks! :-) Dan
  8. Turns out I misunderstood the issue I was having :-) After reading the comments here and doing further research on the internet, I came to realize that the capacitive switches function in Edit Mode (via pressing View button), but not in Stomp/Play Mode. Funny how very little info is in the manual on this. Anyway, it was user error on my part. I think my Stomp XL is working correctly, and yay I don't have to send it back after all. Thanks for the help folks :-) Haven't had much time with the XL yet but so far I'm really liking it.
  9. Hi, Yes, I read the entire manual before placing the order, and then re-read when I came across this problem just in case I missed anything. Maybe I'm misunderstanding though. When I select "Press" in the Global Settings switch section the selected effects toggle on/off when in Stomp Mode which is how they work on my Pod Go. When I change it to "Touch" and then save nothing happens when i just "touch" the switches.
  10. Thanks. I have verified that I was in Stomp mode when trying the switches. No go :-(
  11. Hi all, I just took delivery of brand new Stomp XL and successfully updated to 3.60 firmware. As a Pod Go user I'm starting to find my way around on this new hardware, but I discovered that none of the footswitches work by merely touching them. I've changed the Global Footswitch settings to: Press, Touch, Both, and Off. In any of these modes the capacitive feature doesn't seem to be working, I wouldn't expect it to in Off though. I've done factory reset action twice with no change. Any ideas from more learned users on what could be going on? Maybe I have the wrong idea of what this feature is supposed to do and how it is supposed to work. I'm hoping I don't have a defective unit right off the bat here. Your help is most welcome. Thanks....Dan
  12. Hi Voxman, I'm glad you responded as you've helped me out before and have been spot on. That seems like a pretty logical approach to take. I just hate that immediate sinking feeling when you spend a lot of time putting together a preset and then switch to a similar guitar on a whim. I will try your suggestion and adjust to the individual quirks and characteristics of each guitar. Cheers :-)
  13. Hi all, I've been having a problem I can't seem to get around so far and looking for some help if you've experienced this before. I play on worship team every week at my church and 90% of the time use an AVRI Strat from the early 80's with Area 58's and 61 as my #1 into my Pod Go. I have been trying to break in a #2 using either a new Classic Vibe 50's (factory pickups) or American Pro with CS69's/SD SSL6 as a backup to that, but when I plug either in to the PG using L6 wireless, the tone very weak, cold, and tinny, nothing like what i get when using the AVRI. These 3 guitars sound roughly the same through a Fender SCX2 amp at home, but when I plug in the CV or the AM Pro the tone out of the PG just pales compared to the output and tone of the AVRI. I'm also using IEMs through Aviom system so there is that factor. From what I've researched the pickup sets on these guitars should be roughly in the same ballpark tone and output wise. I've tried different pickup heights, amp models, mostly hovering around Fender type amp models as I really like the clean-ish just breaking up tone and it works well in our band context, adjusted amp and EQ models, low and high rolloffs, front end boosts, cabinet levels, compressor/no compressor, etc. without much luck. Is there a better approach than what I've been using to getting these three Strats more balanced using the Pod Go? I know this is a lot and probably missing some details, but I appreciate anyone responding who has fought this battle. Thanks :-)
