I have a Panasonic... I've had beans, Pod XT Live, Pod X3 Live (a M13 too) and now the HD500 - As you can see i've always upgraded my Line6 products. That "Sony" argument was quite childish and you should really respect the feedback of "loyal" costumers.

I have the HD500 and i will not buy the X version for a hardware upgrade.. I thought this version would have spillover and i was very happy for the new release but now i see it's pointless. I use a lot of delays and it's really a pain (without spillover) when changing presets
