  1. I found a solution. Talcum powder takes the stickiness away. It’s probably still feral under the surface, but at least it’s not all over my hands.
  2. I have a Relay G30 system which I’ve used with an electric violin for years. Electronically, it’s in perfect condition and functions just as I’d like, but the rubber-like material on the outside of the receiver has degraded and is sticky to the touch. It comes off whenever the unit is handled, and I end up with black sticky gunk from it on my hands every time I set up or pull down. Can anyone suggest what I might do about it other than junking an otherwise perfectly good device?
